PENCEGAHAN DAN PENANGANAN PELECEHAN SEKSUAL KEPADA PELAJAR DIKALANGAN SISWA

Abstract

Sexual harassment is a form of violence that violates personal boundaries and can have serious consequences for victims, whether physical, emotional or psychological. Cases of sexual harassment do not only occur among adults, but are also frequently experienced by children and adolescents, particularly in educational settings such as schools and Islamic boarding schools. Various forms of unwanted sexual behaviour frequently occur in school settings, thereby undermining students’ sense of safety, their ability to learn comfortably, and their mental development. This situation makes sexual harassment a serious social issue that requires collective attention. In light of these issues, this community service initiative was carried out as an effort to educate students at SMA 5 Kota Serang on the prevention and handling of sexual harassment. The initiative aims to enhance students’ knowledge, awareness and preventive attitudes towards the risks of sexual harassment within the school environment and the wider community. Through the delivery of materials, discussions, and the provision of information regarding reporting procedures and victim protection, it is hoped that students will gain a more comprehensive understanding of this issue. It is hoped that this activity will foster collective awareness within the school environment and contribute to reducing the incidence of sexual harassment among students, thereby creating a safe, healthy, and conducive environment for the development of the younger generation.
