EDUKASI KEJAHATAN SIBER DI LINGKUNGAN SEKOLAH SEBAGAI UPAYA MENINGKATKAN LITERASI DIGITAL SISWA

Abstract

The development of information and communication technology has provided convenience for students in accessing information and using digital media in everyday life. However, this progress is also accompanied by an increase in various forms of cybercrime such as phishing, malware, hacking, and personal data theft. Low digital literacy makes students vulnerable to cybercrime due to a lack of understanding regarding personal data security and safe technology usage. This Community Service activity was conducted at SMAN 2 Pandeglang on April 28, 2026, aiming to improve students’ understanding of cybercrime and the importance of protecting personal data in the digital era. The methods used included socialization, legal counseling, interactive discussions, and question-and-answer sessions regarding types of cybercrime and preventive measures. The results showed an increase in students’ awareness and understanding of the importance of digital literacy and the use of technology in a safe, wise, and responsible manner.
