EDUKASI TENTANG BAHAYANYA FAHAM RADIKALISME

Abstract

Radicalism is one of the threats that can affect social stability, security, and national unity, especially when it develops among the younger generation. Students as active social media users are vulnerable to being exposed to information containing intolerance and radicalism due to low digital literacy and limited understanding of the dangers of radical ideologies. This Community Service activity was conducted at SMAN 2 Pandeglang on April 28, 2026, aiming to increase students’ understanding and awareness regarding the dangers of radicalism and the importance of maintaining tolerance and nationalism values. The methods used included socialization, legal counseling, interactive discussions, and question-and- answer sessions regarding the characteristics of radical ideologies and their impacts on social and national life. The results of the activity showed an increase in students’ understanding of the importance of being critical in receiving information and maintaining unity and tolerance within the school and society.
