WORKSHOP EDUKASI ASPEK HUKUM DIGITAL: PERLINDUNGAN DATA PRIBADI DAN LEGALITAS JEJAK DIGITAL DALAM PERSIAPAN KARIER

Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology has brought significant changes to various aspects of life, including education and career preparation for the younger generation. As active users of digital media, students need to have adequate understanding of personal data protection and the legality of digital footprints in order to use technology wisely and avoid the risks of data misuse as well as negative impacts on their digital reputation. This Community Service activity aims to improve students’ digital legal literacy through the workshop entitled Educational Workshop on Digital Legal Aspects: Personal Data Protection and the Legality of Digital Footprints in Career Preparation conducted at SMAN 5 Kota Serang. The implementation method employed a participatory and interactive approach through lectures, discussions, question-and-answer sessions, and practical evaluation of participants’ digital footprints. The results of the activity showed an increase in students’ understanding of the importance of protecting personal data, comprehending legal boundaries in digital activities, and building a positive digital image as part of career readiness. This activity contributes to enhancing digital legal literacy among students and serves as a relevant educational medium in addressing the challenges of the digital transformation era.
