PENGUATAN KESADARAN HUKUM MASYARAKAT TERHADAP PERLINDUNGAN LINGKUNGAN HIDUP DISMK 7 KOTA SERANG BERDASARKAN UNDANG-UNDANG NOMOR 32 TAHUN 2009 TENTANG PERLINDUNGAN DAN PENGELOLAAN LINGKUNGAN HIDUP

Abstract

This Community Service Program aims to strengthen public legal awareness regarding environmental protection and management at SMKN 7 Serang City based on Law Number 32 of 2009 concerning Environmental Protection and Management. The problems identified include the lack of students' understanding of the importance of environmental preservation, low awareness of environmental pollution impacts, and limited knowledge regarding legal sanctions for environmental violations. The implementation methods included legal counseling, interactive discussions, environmental socialization, and mentoring activities related to maintaining school cleanliness. The results of the program showed an increase in students' understanding of their rights and obligations in protecting the environment, increased participation in maintaining school cleanliness, and stronger legal awareness regarding environmental protection. This program is expected to create an environmentally conscious culture within the school environment and support the realization of a clean, healthy, and sustainable environment.
